Our Heritage Park will re-open on March 18th! Everyone from staff to our lovely goats are working hard in preparation for our reopening. We have fantastic stories to share and our Teach Ceoil and Scéal Exhibition offer a snapshot into Rural Ireland.
We look forward to welcoming the Public into our Park to hear tales of farming, music and myths and legends.
Our March Céilí at Dún na Sí features the fantastic Matt Cunningham Band. We have a Céilí in our Teach Ceoil here in Moate on the first Friday of every Month. Everyone is welcome, including beginners and warm welcome and cup of tea are guaranteed. Hope to see you there!.
On December 6th, a group of volunteers from the Park headed to the Carlton Hotel, Dublin for the 2019 Volunteer Ireland Awards. Dún na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park were absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted in the "Outstanding Group" Category alongside the Victim Support at Court Group and The Tralee Branch of the Irish Red Cross who were very deserving winners on the night.
We were delighted to receive a Certificate in recognition of the outstanding contribution made by volunteers in our park year around. This award was accepted on behalf of the Park by Patrick Hickey, Sean Kane and Margaret Mandel. Our Volunteers are incredibly important and contribute so much both to events and to the running of the Park and we are delighted to see this being recognised at a National Level.
Volunteer Ireland is the national volunteer development organisation and a support body for all local Volunteer Centres and Volunteering Information Services in Ireland. They work to support, promote and celebrate volunteering through a huge variety of methods and working with volunteers, community groups, charities, events, corporate sector and much more. It was fantastic to have an opportunity to meet with other volunteers from all over the country and hear the hard work that is being done and how much volunteering benefits families and the wider community.
Dún na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park are delighted to have been awarded Tourist Attraction in the Year AND Tourism Group of the Year at the 2019 Midlands 103 Hospitality Awards at the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore on May 27th 2019
Judging had taken place some weeks previously and it had been our pleasure to welcome our judge Sally-Ann Clark from l'Ecrivain Restaurant into the Park where she was given a tour of our beautiful Heritage Park and met with some of our fantastic staff and volunteers. Sally-Ann was delighted with the park and all the recent improvements that had taken place and with our close links to the local community.
Our award winning Heritage Park is now open 7 days a week offering guided tours, with free parking and restaurant on site.
A family-run and family friendly Coffeeshop / Restaurant in the beautiful location that is Dún na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park, Moate.
The Pantry Coffee Shop is now closed for Winter, except during off season Park Events.

7 days a week, 10am - 5pm
A season family pass is non transferable. Any misuse of the pass will result in its immediate cancellation. The pass is valid from April to October 2019 during opening times of the Heritage Park, excluding special events.
