- What time are you open?
Our Amenity Park is opening from 9am until dusk all year round.
Our Heritage Park is open from 10am to 4pm, April to September and 11am to 3pm in October, 7 days a week.
- How do I get there?

Dún na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park is located in Moate, Co. Westmeath, just 15 minutes from Athlone. It is easily accessible by car, bus and bike.
By Car:
Dún na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park is closely located to the M6 motorway, which connects Dublin to Galway.
From Dublin: Take exit 6 off the motorway and take the third exit off the first roundabout. Continue on straight at the second roundabout, then take the first exit off the 3rd roundabout. Continue through Moate town. When approaching the end of the town (towards the traffic calming/boundary section), take a right. Follow this road over the railway tracks, taking the next left after these into the park’s entrance, which will be signposted.
From Galway: Take exit 7 off the motorway and turn left at the T Junction, following the sign for Moate. On entering the Moate town limits, take the first left, and follow this road over the railway tracks, taking the next left after these into the park’s entrance, which will be signposted.
By Bus:
Bus Eireann and Citylink run hourly buses between Dublin and Galway, which stop off in Moate. Dún na Sí Heritage and Amenity Park is a short 20 minute walk from the bus stop.

Pets:
Unfortunately pets are not permitted in the heritage park as we want to protect our vulnerable animals. However, they are welcome in the Amenity Park as long as they are on a lead!
